It doesn't show comments in the notifications, only likes. Half the time it's not even showing my reviews now. You can't choose a different edition of the book - I have to scan the barcode to find the book and mark as reading, then correct the edition on the website later.

For a few days now I have 4 friend requests that I approve and then they appear again in requests a few hrs later.

Scrolling through the feed will eventually start a loop of the same updates. I will often not see my review when clicking on a book it appears on the website, so maybe it's due to editions. It also helps me find something that is worth reading.. Granted for the fact that I can invite friends but I believe this app would be better if we could follow anyone regardless of favorite author, friends and family. There are some celebrities, musicians, and also Sober bloggers that I admire and would love to see what they are reading.

I think this app can be something popular if they opened it up to more celebrities or inspirational speakers. I want to see what they find as good reads for them. I also think this would expose people to more authors and help them gain more revenue for their books.

As always the stories unfold with eagle eye perspective, each chapter the characters perspectives and motives are slowly unravelled, drawing the reader in.

My favorite skill Atkinson utilizes is her ability to make you hate certain characters in her novels! Then she punches you in the gut with a twist here and a turn there. The book opens with a seemingly abstract and horrifying murder. Atkinson then tells the stories of all of the people involved in uncovering the destiny of the criminals and the perseverance of the survivors.

You will love the characters in this book, a young Nanny who has lost her mother and her druggie brother, set against the backdrop of the English Coast, Jackson Brody fumbling along with his own family blunders and the bitter triumph of the leading ladies.

By Rhonda. This is book is special to me because it is about the Calumet, Michigan. My great grandparents immigrated to here in My grandfather was born in Calumet. Reading this book, gave me perspective on what life was like in Calumet.

Annie Clemenc was an amazing strong woman, she was an activist for social justice. Pretty inspiring to read how she at age 25, organised, led the strike parades, fought in the forefront for the miners in the Keweenaw Copper Country. She fought the hardest, and was arrested numerous times during the strike. Annie and the women were a crucial element in the strike, they marched daily, tried to prevent scab workers from going to the mines.

This is a part of history that one does not read, or hear about unless you are connected to Michigan history in someway. To me it was so worthwhile to read, learning what my ancestors lived thru in Calumet, Michigan.

Additionally, the want to read list is really helpful so I can just look on it when I want to check out a book at the library. For the first year of using this app, I encountered zero problems. However, I have recently started getting random likes and follows on my account and their profiles have links to porn websites.

I keep getting more and more every week and it have come to the point where I get at least one per day. Every time I make an update, it gets celebrated with sometimes up to 6 likes from these spam accounts.

In missing him, she sets sail on trip he had wanted to take with her. Basically clueless on what it will take to complete this charted course she realizes she is going to need help.

She stumbles into a kind hearted and handsome guy, Keane, shortly into the start of her journey. He is there to teach her what she needs to know and pushes her along the way. Without spoilers, I loved this quick read because it was the escape that a lot of us sometimes wish we could take and it showed someone who found more happiness in finding herself then the person she lost.

This app might have been good. First the forced noting a rating for at least 20 books before they will give you personal recommendations. The books are thrown on the screen with no way to tell if a member has read a book or not. Now I see where the huge numbers of people who like a book are from. Facebook of all the worst sites to share any info!

When I declined, the app stopped until I looked at my contacts which they also want access to. I said no to the first batch of contacts they wanted to send ads to.

What horrible people these folks are. So now I am stuck with all that work and nothing more to do with the app. Be careful and stay away from this intrusive app. By michelle atim.

Say, when I'm scrolling through my feed, the same notifications are copied over and over no matter how much I scroll. Also I can't join groups via the app, which is just absurd. Reconsidering a few hours after my last app update and I've decided to delete the app and use the webiste.

I bought a full license for this product back when it was called UB Reader. I have intermittent issues with it not 'seeing' the license and still serving me ads.

But the banner's there even when you've opened a book. It can be very distracting sometimes and it disrupts the immersive experience of reading, at least for me.

Jun 1, By Ian. This a review I thought I sent years ago but looks like it was stuck in the app. My iPad zoom issues seem to have disappeared and most magazines accommodate my aging eyesight. Good job Zinio! I love being able to carry a library of magazines on my iPad. And with my aging eyesight, I love being able to enlarge the text. But apparently these guys have perfect eyesight. I was an early adopter and have complained for years about a major bug that, when you zoom in on a page, results in suddenly moving several pages backwards or frontwards through the magazine.

It can take a half dozen attempts to zoom in before getting the desired result. I have complained about this for years, but I've gone from the original iPad to the Air without them having addressed the problem. Worse, their more recent and imaginative presentation formats don't allow zooming in at all. They may have perfect eyesight, but they are quite myopic about serving some segments of their market.

I try not to subscribe any magazines in paper form. If they are available in Zinio, then I subscribe them. I can read magazines anywhere most of my reading is on the planes and I do not have to carry stacks of them.

It also contributes to the environment. Plus, I can always look up a past issue very quickly from my iPad. The app is for the most part very stable. When I have had crashes, I believe it is due to iPad memory issues than the app itself. The current version has been very stable. I hope Zinio updates the app to take advantage of the higher resolution. Great job! Just keep it evolving Oct 22, I love Zinio plain and simple. I can get magazines I love for good prices, across different platforms and devices.

I love the interactive features that are exclusive to the zinio editions of magazines. I am a collector, and if I had all the space I needed I would love to collect the hard copies of magazines, save them, reminisce with them. I can do all of that with Zinio except my 2 daughters both under the age of 3 can't destroy my Zinio magazines. They may spill water on my phone but that leaves my iPad etc I would like to see the library expand to include more titles especially when it comes to sports.

You can get the big all inclusive magazines like ESPN, but you can't get The Ring if you are a boxing fan or the Bowling Journal if you are a bowling fan etc But I really enjoy the magazines I subscribe to on Zinio. It's great now and can only get better. By phy3joy. So far 1yr user this app seems to be very good. I like being able to delete issues of mags that I'm not currently reading so they aren't just sitting there taking up space on my iPad.
