This is not to say the team did not contain great individual players, but rather that this iteration, and its minor variants, are perfect examples of poor cohesion that are made evermore obvious against the backdrop of two separate golden eras of TSM — the Reginald era, and the era. Perhaps there are additional issues TSM was unable to work through. Certainly there is, and already has been, much to speculate about.
Why was TSM not able to adopt its former identity? Why were the players not able to fit the mold? Perhaps, however, there were deeper issues that preclude the possibility of a solution. There was something magical to the attitude of Reginald that enabled his team to flourish, something that has been lost.
So what does TSM do in ? I think TSM, as an organization, needs to do some soul searching to find that spark that has been lost throughout the various roster changes.
I think dropping Bjergsen, or letting him go, would be an even worse mistake than kicking Doublelift. However TSM decides to go about reconstructing their legacy, it must take the personalities and culture of TSM into consideration and choose accordingly.
My name is Bobby and I've been gaming online since the early 00's. I've run the gamut when it comes to online games and genres. While I was never good enough to go pro except that one time I subbed in for Xpecial in my dreams , I've always loved theory-crafting and, in general, taking a deep dive into the more complicated aspects of either game. Nowadays my love for competitive gaming resides with competitive League of Legends, but WoW has been, and always will be, my go to game for pure enjoyment.

Never would we give up on our TSM brethren - it is not in our blood. Everything was as it should be. TSM was top of NA. Dignitas and CLG were disappointing. Curse was 4th.
Nothing could have been better. The summer season was a different story. New challengers in the form of C9 came and dominated the summer regular season and playoffs.
It was not easy to watch another North American team sit where we, the NA champions and borderline royalty belonged. It was our crown and we were not ready to give it up. Unfortunately it would be another disappointing showing on the international stage but we were still proud of our team. They may have lost to GG. All hope was not lost. The new botlane of Xpecial and WildTurtle received very high commendations for being able to hold their own against the best in the world, but the team needed change, and Regi our fearless leader was willing to make the tough calls.
He benched himself and brought on the very hyped up midlaner Bjergsen. He gave new life to TSM fans and the team. C9 were once again triumphant and our mental block against the new NA crown-holders continued. While 2nd place is surely nothing to scoff at, Regi and TSM were not satisfied. TheOddOne stepped down and Amazing was brought in to jungle. Xpecial was released and Lustboy filled in with a short unsuccessful stint from Gleebglarbu as the support player.
TSM's time had finally come and after securing 3rd place in the regular season the playoffs came with a tough schedule of Dignitas, LMQ, and the final challengers in C9. Two very close sets against LMQ and C9 wrenched the hearts and minds of Baylievers but we persevered and reclaimed our rightful title as the best in NA. Riot's 4th World Championship was on the horizon and while many foreign fans were hopeful, everyone was aware of the Korean Dominance and high chance of lifting up the Summoner's cup.
TSM was placed in a group with Star Horn Royal Club the eventual runner-ups and narrowly missed out on qualifying for the quarterfinals in first place. Due to the second seed they were pitted against Samsung Galaxy White the eventual winners and lost The 3rd iteration of the LCS will be the fiercest competition yet. C9's dominance is over. Below I have included an infographic from Leaguepedia.
It isn't totally up to date, but you get a vast majority of the player changes made and the TSM history throughout the years. So I have talked about what makes TSM great. I have given you a small history lesson. I have shown you all their current and past players. But who ARE they? What do they have to offer, you the fan, about themselves? What makes them personable?
Why do we scream TSM!? Well I have compiled a few videos and articles to help you better understand why I Baylieve and why you should too. I could link them for days on end Bjergsen expanded on that schedule: "Every team scrims between hours, days a week. Watching VODs, having conversations with your team, theorycraft, scheduling more scrims Team SoloMid, under the guidance of Weldon, has learned to practice until the point of burnout and then pull it back.
Looking back at the series. It was a really close match. TSM was a little less impressed with the Zac pick coming out from Meteos. I was surprised Meteos had the balls to play Zac. The team still felt like they could have done better, with Bjergsen remarking: "Even today I was disappointed with how we played, games were slow to end, we were sloppy.
Canadian support Biofrost shows off hometown pride. Gauntlet hopes. Team SoloMid are hoping that the Immortals go down in the upcoming Gauntlet. The Immortals currently stand as the final boss of the Gauntlet, standing only one best of five away from being the third North American seed at Worlds.
Doublelift noted that he was cheering for Cloud9. The metagame.
